The project promotes a wide range of artistic mediums and hosts frequent events and exhibitions. In addition, the PAAG awards a yearly artists’ residency to a selected artist by granting its penthouse studio space to the artist and providing supporting resources.
It aims to situate itself seamlessly with its neighbors, maintains the classical rhythm of the surrounding facades, sports the traditional Mansard roof typical of Parisian architecture, and yet still commands a striking and modern presence.
Materials include double-glazed curtain-wall glass with painted metal mullions, in-situ, board-formed concrete, varying tones of venetian blaster, sandblasted and polished swedish steels, weathered iron and bronze, and concrete composite tiling.
