A get-away home ensconced in Carbon Beach, nestled along the California coast just north of Malibu. A thoughtful collection of stone, sand, and wood material swatches from the neighboring coastline that are robust enough to provide shelter from the harsh ocean wind and moisture, yet still soft, warm, and cozy.
An architecture that begins with familiar shapes, and then subtly deletes and removes in order to fully exploit the panoramic views. Though, at the end of the day, this is just a cute little beach house.
